Anna Spackman, Permaculture Designer : Anna Marie Spackman is a Permaculture Designer who loves learning, growing things and playing in the dirt.
Classes will be scheduled all day Saturday from 9 AM to 5 PM and Sunday from 9 AM to 3 PM. Gates close at 5 PM Sunday.
$65 including all classes, morning coffee or herb tea, one Noon picnic style chili meal
Children are free and their meal is $5

all other classes: $10 each class

You are welcome to bring a picnic lunch, drinks, and a blanket.

FEATURES:

PLANTS: Many plants from plant starts to gallon pots. This includes herbs, heirloom and non GMO tomatoes and other vegetables, Elderberry plants and cuttings, Moringa, Red Zinger, AKA Hibiscus Sabdariffa, Figs, Edible Hardy begonias, mints, oreganos, Cuban oregano, everbearing strawberries, nettle, wild herbs of all sorts.
CLASS SCHEDULE
Schedule : Saturday May 7
9AM-12 N: Green Deane Walk: Take a slow walk through food forests, meadows, woodland, wetlands and creekside trails that cross the nearly 10 acres of Putney Farm. Deane will show you how to Identify and use wild edibles that grow in your neighborhood or near you, and give you the history of many native and non native wild edibles growing here.
10:AM: Growing Microgreens at Home Tiffany Almazan: There are tips and tricks to successful microgreen growing. Tiffany will share her tips and tell you how growing your own microgreens at home can both save you money and provide fantastic nutrition at any time of the year.
10:30AM: Suzanne Shires, Author and Homestead survival teacher. “Herbs for pain.. ‘there’s an herb for that’, relieving pain through herbal therapies”
