FREE Conservation Expo

Join OdySea Aquarium on January 14th, 2023 for our 5th annual Conservation EXPO! Come visit over 30 like-minded organizations in the Arizona Boardwalk Courtyard to celebrate ringing in the new year sustainably! Attendees will have an opportunity to meet conservation experts and animal ambassadors alike, while learning how to help make a positive impact on our community and planet. Stop by for your chance to meet adorable adoptable cats and dogs or to see birds of prey, reptiles and so much more!
Live Butterfly Releases at 11:00AM & 1:00PM on the center stage.
New in 2023 we invite you to watch as we release live painted lady butterflies into the wild. These important pollinators will serve as a great addition to Arizona Boardwalk’s growing pollinator gardens located at OdySea Aquarium and Butterfly Wonderland!
Penguin Poop Bingo at 12:00PM next to VR Extreme.
Celebrate our feathered friends by participating in Penguin Poop Bingo! Bingo cards can be purchased for $5.00 dollars at the OdySea Aquarium ticket window. Bingo players will have a chance to win prizes such as animal artwork or tickets to one of the Arizona Boardwalk attractions! All proceeds will support the OdySea Aquarium Foundation (OdySea Aquariums non-profit partner) and the AZA Penguin SAFE (Saving Animals From Extinction) program to protect wild penguins and their habitat!
Animal Ambassador Photos from 9:00AM – 11:30AM.
This is your chance to snap a quick photo with one of the many animal ambassadors that call OdySea Aquarium home. Stop by the OdySea Aquarium tent for your chance to see one of these amazing animals up close! Photos will be taken on your personal device by an OdySea Aquarium Team Member for only $5.00. All proceeds will support the OdySea Aquarium Foundation (OdySea Aquarium’s non-profit partner) and the AZA SAFE (Saving Animals From Extinction) program, to protect endangered animals and their habitat!
Animal Art Work for Sale from 9:00AM – 2:00PM.
Are you looking for a unique, eye-catching piece of art for your home? Stop by the OdySea Aquarium booth to look at the amazing art painted by animal artists such as sealions, stingrays and penguins! Proceeds will directly benefit the animal artists by providing enrichment and help protect their wild counterparts.
