Breaking Barriers: A Celebration of Disability Community

Disability Rights Washington, one of the state’s pioneering disability rights advocacy organizations, is hosting Breaking Barriers: A Celebration of Disability Community on Thursday June 1st from 6:00-8:30pm PST. The event is being held at the spectacular 415 Westlake venue in Seattle, centering the voices and talents of disabled artists.
We invite you to join us for an energizing evening of community building and live performances with disability leaders, artists, and activists! Our celebration features a meaningful and memorable night of stand-up comedy, poetry, hip-hop, exciting emcees, special guest speakers, an exclusive raffle, hearty hors d’oeuvres, local wine and beer and our rock star DRW staff. After three years of being apart, we’re excited to celebrate, laugh, uplift and be in community with you!

Venue is barrier-free with wheelchair accessible restrooms. ASL and CART will be provided.
