People for Liberty is delighted to announce Tim Hagan joining us as the Treasurer for People For Liberty and Home For Liberty. Current PFL Treasurer Cris Crawford is stepping down to focus on her run for Treasurer in Massachusetts.


Tim Hagan served as Treasurer of the Libertarian National Committee from 2012 to 2022, becoming the longest-serving officer in Libertarian Party history. He has served as a Regional Alternate on the Libertarian National Committee, Treasurer of the Libertarian Party of Nevada, and Treasurer of the Libertarian Party of Clark County. He has run for public office as a Libertarian numerous times. He is currently the Treasurer for US Senate candidate Feena Bonoan.

Tim has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Magna Cum Laude, from the Missouri University of Science & Technology (Missouri S&T, formerly the University of Missouri-Rolla). He earned a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and Management of Technology Certificate at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Tim retired in 2019 from JT4, LLC, after a career mostly in radar systems and Electronic Warfare. After graduating from Missouri S&T, Tim worked as an Engineer in radar design for General Dynamics. At Northrop, he was a Senior Engineer in the design, integration, and testing of an electronic countermeasure system. At INTELSAT, he worked as an Integration & Test Engineer on a communications satellite. Tim has also worked for EG&G Technical Services in Las Vegas, where he was an Engineering Specialist integrating radar systems onto a test and training range. He was transferred to JT3, LLC, a joint venture of EG&G and Raytheon, and then to JT4, LLC. At JT4, he was the Lead Measurements Engineer in the testing and measurement of radar systems.

Tim is a member of the Order of the Golden Shillelagh at Missouri S&T. He was inducted into the Academy of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Missouri S&T in 2018. He is on the Board of Directors of the Miner Alumni Association.

Tim is a Chapter President and Nevada Society Vice President for the Sons of the American Revolution.

Tim Hagan enjoys getting together with friends to catch baseball games and to watch the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets football games. He has seen regular-season major league baseball games in over 50 stadiums.
