Black folks remember,
Basic constitutional rights are not absolute.
Keep your hands up and stay silent for the man in blue.
Let him read you your rights so he will not shoot.
Black boy, It does not matter what you did or did not do.
The first amendment does not apply to you.
Blackness is a weapon, neither does the second.
Don’t you dare bring up the fourth or the pig will apply force.
Let him search through your car, he has quotas to enforce.
For my Americans, the sixth states
“In all criminal prosectuions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and disrict wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of counsel for his defence”
Black people this don’t apply to you.
The black 6th amendment states such
“In black criminal prosecutions the accused shall enjoy a quick and speedy sentencing by a partial jury of the State and district wherein the crime of blackness has been comitted, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to remain misinformed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor; and to have the most useless assistance of low-tier counsel for his defence”
This is more than a feeling of hatred from what republicans wanna call an isolated incidence.
Time and time again history repeats itself but each time they act like there wasn’t already precedence.
Racism running deep in our country’s DNA from the DAs to the President.
Country founded on bloodshed like the red in our flag is something we should be proud to represent.
Racists turned in the white sheets for the blue uniforms,
Whole lotta bad apples and the good ones allow em to poison us.
This system is poisonous.
Got a black man anxious to leave his house, it’s crazy how they torturing us.
The old leaders passed the torch to us,
Our generation is furious.
Stand up fight back, notice these fake activists dont got your back.
Peep how Karen always got a black friend whenever she feel attacked.
We ashamed to explain this nexus of racism, but we got to.
For the next generation of kids who got kids raising em,
Perc poppin and sipping lean to eliminate the thoughts plaguing em.
The Fourteenth never included peace.
Sadly ain’t nothing gonna change till we see the problem is more than the police.
The system is broken, only thing changed has been the chains.
So this Juneteenth remember our names and our fight.
Invoke black liberation because that is a principle left behind by the constitution.
We fight demanding damages and a resolution,
Hence why today we celebrate a revolution.
